Is there a conspiracy going on out there? I mean, what's happening to all the celebs? They're dropping like flies over the last few days! I don't mean to upset anyone here, or sound insensitive to the people's families that I don't know and will never meet, but ... isn't the media on a kind of "overkill" on it already? They're having a ball with all this "non-news" to take away from the real stuff.
Helloooo? There's still a war going on in Iraq and Afghansitan. There's Still thousands of people dying of malnutrition and aids daily, and surprisingly enough, there are other cancer victims out there in the world apart from Farrah Fawcett.
I'm not playing down the popularity of these people, or the obvious effect they had on some people, but the media hype, the public out-pouring of support and the complete over reaction of fans going to the house to give flowers that had never even met Michael Jackson is wearing thin. Why not give the money to a charity, do they honestly think it'll make a difference to Jacko if he get's flowers now?
What about the people that lost their pensions and life savings to Bernie Madoff, do you think they're worrying about whether Michael Jackson's family are going to be ok after Madoff rooked 65 billion dollars out of ordinary people's savings? Hardly.
